The Junko
The Junko
Oh! Little space invaders on the ground
Payne's grey and white, with Mars black eyes so round...
Piow-piow-piow-piow-piow...your hailing sound...
I watch as you peruse the fall leaf mound.
Old Wives' Tales claim your sighting warns of snow.
I don't recall a timeframe for it though!
And since it's warm, I'm put in quite a throe...
In just how this could be...with what I know!
Oh! Junko! Little Snowbird, is your name,
The weather has not changed, it's still the same!
Oh! Prophets of the snow...you play a game...
No snow's in sight...looks like this call's for rain!
While looking out my window...this I found:
A spark'ling blanket...white...layed all around.
