The Joy of This New Day
Elation, of the highest order,
with each new sunrise
gives chance to greet
the new day's morn
with rested, refreshed eyes!
Energy is surging!
It is too restored anew,
bounding to stand vertically....
great is that moment too!
The first step taken,
this new day-
it truly is the sign
of this new day's
opportunity....
to literally rise and shine!
Now which one is brighter
and wins this by a mile?
This new day's creative thought....
or wearing that first smile!!!
To look up and say thank "YOU"
gives respect along with praise
to the ONE who created all of this
in hopes HE'll bring more days!
The dreams of the night before
no longer do they exist!
They are replaced when we awake
with a fresh, new morning's kiss!
The reality that's also known is
those who awoke were blessed,
but some will not see it this way
they'll complain and not be impressed!
Such is life and it's each one's choice
to partake in it their own way!
I will stand tall and bask in it all,
with......
