The Joy of Being a Christian
The joy of being a Christian
Is that we have Jesus within
To pick us up when we fall
He loves us all, both great and small
He's always with us wherever we are
Even though sometimes we feel that He's far
He speaks to us through His Word
He is the Wonderful Counselor and the Great Shepherd
He loves us with unconditional love
That's why He came down, and left His glory above
To die for sinners like you and me
So that we could be saved and be set free
He shed every drop of blood to save us from our sin
So all we have to do is believe in Him
Believe that He died and rose again
And then we can all be born again
Live for Him and follow His plans
He has promised us that no one can snatch us from His hands
So we should be thankful that we're His children
Coz when He comes back, He'll take us with Him
