The Journey Continues

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

Walking down this path
My mind split in half
Trying to escape the wrath of sadness
From the demon of madness

It's a lonely road
Walking through the devil's abode
Into the belly of the beast I go
Somebody call a priest before the cock crows

Going down this path again
My mind thinking "here we go again"
The devil causing me so much pain
Sometimes I wonder what he got to gain from all these pain he causes me as I walk down that lane

At this point I can't be saved,
As I find myself down this path I paved
Enslaved to the will of Anxiety
Making it impossible for sobriety

In shadows deep, my spirit weighed,
By burdens heavy, on this path, I'm swayed.
Within darkness' grasp, no trace of levity,
Ensnared by my own anxious brevity.
