The Journey
Once I thought of a journey
the journey, where life is going to meet another life
the life, somewhat strange somewhat insipid
somewhere its unknown
that unknown is my destination.
I started my journey once and for'er
I knew am alone, lonely with my soul
and once i looked back from where i left
I found my own footprints
that showed the path
the path to where am heading
its the destination
I realized its the seventh heaven.
I went on n on..
at time i saw someone is beside me
I came to know, no one
but my own shadow is with me.
There then came when i saw
the evening disappears with
darkness's appearance..
Far there to my eyes strains
I saw that lonely moon sitting idle-
I told myself.'still you have the stars as your friends'.
I walked down to my destination
the darkness followed me,
without looking back this time
i saw li'l far my destination
the destination to where am heading alone.
I realized the time
its quite late
walked faster n faster as I could
And when i came closer
I saw the destination is crowded with lots
of friendly souls.
I turned back and realized
the destination to where i was heading
was not love but sacrifice.
Now again i started my journey
the journey then was to my destination
the destination from where i had started..
in this journey my shadow was no more
it was a journey i made alone
and returned alone.
