The Island

Alone on this land, I found in a storm, I sink in the sand, Where waters are warm. With no one around, The island is bare. Just me on the ground. I sit and I stare. My mind is at ease. My body is free. The waves of the seas, Are all the at I see. The plane is in two. I’m so far away. There’s no need to do, The nine to five day. And so if I see, A plane I could spot, I could make a plea, But I’d rather not.
