there once was,
a poor little girl,
she had,
a treasured pearl,
that was given to her,
by a mighty King,
for his majesty,
the pearl,
meant absolutely nothing,
but to the poor little girl,
it meant,
absolutely everything,
the little girl sold the pearl,
on the street,
just so her family,
could stay warm and eat,
for her mother,
she bought a heavy coat,
for her baby brother,
nourishing milk,
from a goat,
the little girl's father,
worked for the jeweler,
in town,
the pearl was bartered,
to the jeweler,
by a stranger,
for the jeweler's prized cow,
the jeweler forged the pearl,
into a beautiful ring,
not knowing,
that the treasured pearl,
originally came,
from the all mighty King,
the jeweler sold,
the beautiful pearl ring,
to the King's,
spoiled wife,
for a very hefty price,
to the Queen,
the ring,
meant everything,
it's funny how things,
come full circle,
in life.
