Notes About The Poem

Sorry this is another Prolia rant. Something about Nina's mini-verse contests seem to inspire me to go off on this most evil drug on the market. (I may actually have found something to overcome it with. Slowly but surely. If I succeed, I will be raving in a good way!)

The Invisible Tyrant

Not showing up in blood work on me,
it freely reigns tyrannically.
Which cells is it in? Is it inside my brain?
It avoids detection again and again!

It was visible once, when shot in my arm.
The injector said it would “do no harm.”
What’s it turned into? Why has it not gone?
Results that it gives me just keeping going on.

I fight and I fight this invisible thing
so my OWN body again will be king.

This is intense, but it is a battle that you are fighting, and when we fight a battle, we either close up and die or live and advocate for others. I hope you win this one, Andrea. It sounds rather awful! Good luck in Nina's contest!

thanks so much, Caren. Truly, it makes me feel like an ALiEN, that's how weird it is. But I think I am winning the war now. I have been using two products that are marvelous. When I am completely healed, I will be telling the world!

So sorry, Andrea! Good poem...as always! My MD is constantly offering me drugs. I won't take any...MD's in the US and the drug industry push drugs, I can't even get a simple blood fest for Vitamin D..without pagying 200 bucks in Ca. That's crazy. Also I go online to research any drug he offers... PR good luck in contest. ))

they are all so awful. I asked my oncologist several years ago: So what food do your advise I eat to prevent cancer coming back? he looked at me and said, "moderation in all things" (I already knew the answer,I just wanted to see if HE KNEW anything). I asked another oncologist: How much do you study about the importance of nutrition for your patients? He told me "two weeks of med school" Imagine TWO weeks is all they take for the most important aspect of staying healthy. What a screwed up system of our country where it's all about the doctors learning which drug should be prescribed to get us sicker and sicker and sicker.

I know you are speaking of the cursed Prolia they keep advertising on T.V. which should be criminal! I don't think I can write for this one, but I will try to come up with something. You did well Andrea. xxoo

if only it WERE a usual lab test rant. No, Linda, I live with some horrible conditions and am trying to get Prolia out of my body somehow. it's been a year now and I will not give up!

I don't know what Prolia is. We must be careful about what we eat and question doctors when we see them. Doctors are human and make mistakes! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Of course be careful what we eat. I am talking about an expensive and very dangerous drug our doctors do not believe is dangerous, simply because rich and powerful men got it approved by FDA. The doctors refuse to believe the victims of Prolia. They are NOT innocent. they are ignorant and I am rid of MINE.
