The Invisible Enemy

Corona is grabbing the headlines

Threatening like receding hairline

Attacks the lungs and spreads like a pandemic

Hijacks the cells and multiplies like an epidemic

He is called the "invisible enemy"

Keeping mankind in search for remedy

Let’s be on alert, sanitize your hands

Spread this information to all lands

Many infected people gasping for breath

Thousands being swept away by death

We're in perilous times, an age of lonesome fear

We need to repent, because His coming is near

No matter how many hearts are grieving

Everyone needs to keep on believing

There is HOPE that you may understand

Almighty God is the custodian of the land

Corona is a sign of an impending warning

Looks scary and many hearts are waning

Trust me, one day beneath the moon

The King in his glory comes soon

Love this, Gideon. I almost passed it by, thinking to myself...no, not another poem about the virus...we hear about it over and over. But then you gained my ear, “ We need to repent, because His coming is near“ Then you said: Everyone needs to keep on believing/There is HOPE, that you may understand /Almighty God is the custodian of the land./ and I say Amen!
