Oh, I did not worry,
when the Covid-19 pandemic hit;
for I am a loner on this journey,
suited to isolation I had to admit.
Lots to read, paint and draw,
and DVD movies to watch I already saw;
but I got quiet and I began to withdraw,
deeper I fell;
into some kind of living hell.
And to so called friends I said farewell !
So with courage and mask on I ventured outside,
I went to the store and took a bus ride;
social distanced with pride,
I buried the introvert who was me deep inside.
