the innocent pays the most

Propaganda trumps humanity,
and humanity is sold to the highest bidder,
terror and chaos, the monsters game.
While...the innocent, pays the most!

But it was the monsters who lit the flame,
now, their hands are blood stained,
conquer and divide, the road to their end game.
While...the innocent, pays the most!

The monsters hide within the shadows ,
so their maddening agenda can be fulfilled,
sacrificing their own, just to satisfy their need.
While...the innocent, pays the most!

Senses are invaded by violence and the horrors of war,
and watch, man's inhumanity towards fellow man,
as each side tally up the points, adding to their score,
While...the innocent, pays the most!

The monsters projection of the blame,
lives inside the propaganda, invading our stare,
as we sit in the safety, of our comfy chairs.
While...the innocent, pays the most

 Manipulations seep from prejudices shadows,
targeting the vacant minds that stare into the light,
ignoring the truth, as the truth hides behind the guilty shame
of those who choose todays trending issue.
While...the innocent, pays the most!

Delusion chants the false use of words,
and the words true meaning hides within that delusion,
facts, exaggerated and askew, become the narrative line.
While...the innocent, pays the most!

The trends blast dark delusions,
as the light shines into harvested minds,
empty of self-thought, the blind just follow.
While...the innocent, pays the most!

I like how you laid it on, felt the heat and the reoccurring line added to the intensity, really bringing it home. Wish I didn't agree with your write but for that to be the case we need an opposite day. Welcome to Soup. CayCay

I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
