The Innocence of Our Children

Why can't we stop and look at our World, see how much it is changing,
See how much our social media is rearranging.
Our dreams...
Our Faith...
Our Love.....
They don't mean that much anymore,
To Most these things have turned to a once thoughtful memory,
We were destroyed by something we could not see.
Is there any hope for this generation now?..
Or should we just throw in our towels,
Because there might not be any hope now...

But I Don't see it that way...
You see my hope lies within the Little children as I watch them play.
Through their eyes....the world is not evil or Wicked or Tough,
In their minds playing in a playground is the only thing that is Tough.
While we adults and teenagers,
Care about who can be the Better bosses and player's
And stressing so much about not being a failure,
But in reality doing that turns us into impending failures.

My prayer,
Is that one day we can be a Better nation and a Better people,
Instead of throwing in the towel...We throw out the high steeples
And just maybe having the innocence of a child won't be Thought of as a bad thing any more...
