Notes About The Poem

The Incomparable Joys of Fall

So many of us smile when summer starts
to lose its grip, for autumn thrills our hearts.

I’m ready for the shortening of days
and welcoming of sun’s less potent rays.

I’m awed by changing colors of the leaves
and love the cozy feel of flannel sleeves.

The majesties of fall create a world
of wonder when by Nature they're unfurled.
