The Image of Self

If only you would, if only you could, Imagine this and imagine that You were a thin boy, who used to be fat, Not being treated the way that you should. Imagine that you had changed for the good, With the same sense of self under your hat, Observing reactions, from where you sat, As people were now pleased with where you stood. So, what would you think, or how would you feel About all of the dynamics of change? Would you find a creative way do deal With the superficial folks in your range, Or just try your best to just keep it real, Not allowing them to make you feel strange.
