The Icon of Self-Indulgence

Stripe me with your sexiness… whip me naked
Naked and ashamed…
Naked and ashamed…
Naked and ashamed…
Tame me now or never and never again will I be shady
Sugar-coated shame embraced me
Work it out and shake off the stress
Address the pain of pouring sun
Triggered by the sound of a gun
Your remarks aren’t tolerated here,
Enveloped in mere fear
The icon of self-indulgence embraces me
Embraces me…
Can’t you see?
I talk none…
Okay, you won
But, don’t hurt me again
So kind
Yet, left behind
So humble
Yet, prideful and confident
Who am I? Who am I?
Am I not a follower of God and Christ?
I swelter in my shelter and all I see is a blur
I read to make sure
My vocabulary is straightened out
Raped by rue
Out of the blue
Why does it have to happen to me?
Why does it have to happen to me?
Echo me your lullabies…waving my goodbyes…
Demonic and symphonic I’ve learned to me
Therapeutic and epic I’ve earned a C
A C or higher is considered passing, but effort with a F is better than any other grade because I TRIED. I TRIED.
Teachers, I’m tired of being told what to do
Students, I’m sick of being bullied and I’m bold too
Bold too…bold too…
But, everywhere you go, I end up with you…
I end up with you…
I end up with you…
I end up here without you
I cleaned up my act and backpack at least
Unaware of the time…spending it oh so sublime
Crazy insane
Laughing…c-can’t stop laughing
Coughing up blood of blasphemy
You can never see me in need of you!
At least, that’s what I think
I check out models and wink
In disaster, I slowly and silently…sink.
Sink. I think. I blush pink.
I look beyond the physical appearance
Daydreamin’…in a rush…
Darling angel, I smile in remembrance
Commercials of plenty in my mind due to watching too much TV
TELEVISION…to see…
I am great after looking up illuminati –
The **** of the “New World Order”
Shattered regrets
Piling of debts
Amazing things that happen these days
Are we Friends with Benefits ?

What a fascinating way to play words. You made me wonder the meaning of it all. 7 Blessings and I hope you had a nice Easter Sunday
