The Human Experience
When God made man, He made him good
In His image, the first pair stood.
Their existence centered in Him
from their hearts sprung a holy hymn.
The place God made for them to stay
spelled perfection in every way.
God’s plan was that, their life on earth
would be filled with heavenly mirth.
An alien foe of God and man
presented man another plan
and as seducers often do
man’s heart from God he slowly drew.
The alien’s goal? Destroy and kill
and every soul with evil fill,
to separate man from his God,
and perceive Him as fraud or flawed.
The state of human life today
exists because Satan holds sway.
Sickness, storms, famines, wars, and strife
are his tools to destroy human life.
E’en though the foe detoured His plan
God has not changed His will for man.
He’ll vanquish Satan, sin, and hate,
then a new earth, God will create.
As man was then, he’ll be again,
when over him, God’s will would reign.
Choose God today, let Him hold sway
Bow before Him and daily pray.
And when at last, Eden’s restored
God will to you, a place afford,
then with the saints of every race
you’ll sing of God’s amazing grace.
