A law needs to be passed that prevents those running for the House or Senate, from accepting funds raised out of their individual states. The House and Senate make up the Congress of the United States by representing each of their states for the common good of all; not for the common good of those in Washington only.

The House and Senate By Franklin Price 08/30/2020 What are the House and Senate? Who are the people there? Who sent them up to Washington? Are they there for States to share? Senators and Representatives For each state, the only way The Constitution says it's so At least back in the day It's now about the parties Not to make the people smile But to get to the majority To not have to cross the aisle Pump money at whoever helps To make that dream come true How they will help the party Not what they'll do for me and you Not for the states they represent But the power in D.C. For the royalty in Washington And to hell with you and me If one can't get elected With the support from their own state They don't deserve the House or Senate And are really not that great
