The Hopping Toad

The Hopping Toad Nursery Rhyme

As I was walking down the road
I saw a lumpy, bumpy toad.
He looked to the left
And then the right
Then hopped his way back home alright,
Hop, hop, stop, hop,
Hop your way back home
Hop hop stop, hop,
Hop your way back home.

Sorry, but it is not in the submitting entry where it states SUBMITTE TITLE an it filles your title in big bold black letters, so when I look at the new poems I will not accidently read it.

Hi eve, thank you for the win, i am a bit confused as i did put nursery rhyme at the end of my title as shown in 'my poems' link. but thank you anyway, your comments are very much appreciated. I used to make little rhymes like this when walking my children to school, it kept them happy and they forgot they were walking to school instead of being taken in the car. sneaky but happy.xxxx

Janine, You are an astute observer of nature. You have expressed the movements of a toad, especially the eyes very accurately in this wonderful poem. I enjoyed it very much~ Warren
