The Homeplace

The farm I loved, my ancient homeplace
A families love, God given grace
Though poor then, now those memories embrace

I learned to be somewhat independent, life embrace
So much to explore on that old homeplace
So lucky to be covered and blessed by God's grace

The whole family worked hard, filled with grace
There was plenty of food, nature I did embrace
That farm will always for me be my homeplace

Homeplace,
Grace
Embrace

Dear Sara, what a deeply comforting, incantatory warmth in how you distill an entire lifetime of gratitude down to three foundational pillars: place, faith, and acceptance. True independence doesn't grow out of isolation, it flourishes when a child feels securely anchored. Scarcity, when wrapped in love, often cultivates a deep, enduring capacity for joy in life's most fundamental blessings. Beautiful and heartfelt work, Sara. Blessings, Daniel

Dear Daniel, you have wrapped up a loving home in a very nice bundle. There was love and understanding there which was so important in my development. Your visits always an added special touch to my page. 👍⭐. Sara K.

Yes, home is where the heart is, Anne-Lise, if there is love there. Thanks for the smiley faces. 👍⭐. Sara K.
