The Holy City

The Holy City copyright 2010
                                                By Allen Hackett

Sweet rivers always flow
Streets paved with gold
Mountains of diamonds
Hills of rubies and every precious stone
Treasure chests full of snow
Pillars of water and fire
No downcast souls
No tears forevermore
One day is like a thousand years with majesty and wonders untold
The kingdom to come is pure light and infinity has no end

Great expression of the Holy city in few words. Deep as well. Enjoyable poem, Allen. Check out my poems. Might find one you like. Peace.
