The Hill of Life {resubmit}
Think of life if you will
As a big giant hill
At the bottom there is a road
Each of us start with a equal load
Just as every up has a down
There are forks in the road to be found
At these forks I'm here to say
The right road is a steeper way
The wrong road without a doubt
Is a little more flattened out
Now the road of life is just so long
Whether we do it right or wrong
If in the beginning the right choices we make
A steady incline our life will take
And if we choose the wrong road
We put on our back a heavy load
In the beginning that may be fine
But later in life we hit that incline
And now we face a much steeper road
Burdened by a much heavier load
We live our lives it does seem
Just trying to reach our dreams
Intertwined by the ropes
That thread together all our hopes
Its simply up to you to choose
Will I win or will I lose
