The High Road
the high road
is soon to be closed
as no one i know
uses it anymore
in desperate need
of daily repair
with no one out there
who really cares
a once solid road
we all traveled on
now the shoulders are soft
the pavement long gone
and with the low road
so easy to take
if we don't read the signs
that point out our mistakes
we'll continue to travel
on the road that runs low
with the route we once took
soon to be closed
