The Hiding Stars

The astral tapestry of the zodiac,
weaved in cosmic charisma of crystal stars,
the primal harmony of the pristine constellation,
the celestial jewels adorning the crown of the sky.

Washed by the brush of the dripping darkness,
night’s concave canvas sparkles in stellar brilliance,
the sapphire glow of adornment adrift for light years,
sprinkles surreal silver tinsels over the entwined hearts.

Lost in the tossing sea of wrecked life in tempest,
for the drifting mariner the pole star sets the course.
I sail the preserved passion to the shelter of the shore,
where I find you drenched in the soft drizzle of stardust.

I climb up the pinnacle of rapture in your arms,
shrouded in the lucent satin of the diaphanous night.
Twinkling stars I see in the glint of your dreaming eyes,
I know from the dawn sky where all the stars go and hide.
