The Hidden Series - Six

he decided to sing
an enticing melody
battling the force of my weakness
strange sweet sounds penetrated my being
and petrified me all the same
it scared my roots, it probably could scare the trees
my inner voice grew hoarse
the louder he sang
his truths of me maybe made me uncomfortable
the louder he sang
he blew me into the wind
it left me in free fall
once he decided to sing
then deeper into him I went
in both a local bar and a quiet storm
the fusion of pain and promise
when he sang
with a simple song, he paints my pains far away, far far away
how does he own me so easily
hello..

but just let me hide tonight..
