The Hidden Me
Do I have the courage
to do what it must take,
To hold my own not let it be shown
keep it together for the others sake,
I'm seen as such a strong one
no one could ever know,
How it is I feel inside
I try not to let it show,
I want to retreat with in myself
and hide from all this pain,
Make it all just go away
it's driving me insane,
I can not take this constant ach
that burns within my heart,
To see the way that things are
it's tearing me apart.
