The Heartbreak Blues

Well and I've got The Heartbreak Blues
And it's all because of you
You promised you'd always love me
And be true but that was just a lie
And now that we are through I
Just sit here crying the blues
The Heartbreak Blues...
I cry myself to sleep at every night
Holding my pillow pretending it's
You I am holding tight, there’s just no
Getting you off my mind, I try but you
Are there all the time so that's why...
I've got The Heartbreak Blues
And it's all because of you
You promised you'd always love me
And be true but that was just a lie
And now that we are through I
Just sit here crying the blues
The Heartbreak Blues...
Maybe if I could find somebody
Else it would ease the pain of
Loosing you but I swear nobody
Could ever make me feel as good as
You could, it never crossed my mind
I was just a game to you now
Things will never be the same
And it's been so hard on my heart
Since we drifted apart now the lot
Of what I got is not but...
I've got The Heartbreak Blues
And it's all because of you
You promised you'd always love me
And be true but that was just a lie
And now that we are through I
Just sit here crying the blues
The Heartbreak Blues...
The Heartbreak Blues...
