The Heart of Brenda Mccool

You are perfect in every way, my son, my love in every way.
And when love does not repay dear one, give love in all your ways.
As you and your heart grow stronger, withstand a little longer,
I'll dance with you as long as you'll save a dance for me.

Shun the voices drenched in hate, my son, you are perfect in every way.
Pray for those who cannot love you hence they judge in all their ways.
When backs turn and isolate you,
And a friend you cannot turn to,
I'll dance with you as long as you'll save a dance for me.

Hate will twist the tortured soul, my son, keep loving in all your ways.
Lay, be still, for death has come, dear one, I'll sheild you in every way.
As my love has winged your living,
Let my death be a thanksgiving
For I give my life to give you chances still to dance.

I'll dance with you as long as you'll save a dance for me.
I'll dance with you as long as you'll save a dance for me.
