The Haven of Fools

The haven of fools
This is the haven of fools
Fools do not like greatness
They are blind, so they don’t progress

Fools lack wisdom
They are far from freedom
Their heart seeks riches
For these are their wishes

Fools will perish
But the wise will flourish
Think for wisdom exceeds folly
Who will you like to be?

Life of the wise is purer and sweeter
Like the anther of a flower
Cherish it; let it be your pride
Marry it; let it be your bride

Do away with ignorant
For the truth is important
Fools have pleasure in vanity
The wise is always free and happy
