The Hands

In every time of your calling
I'm holding us both from falling
Never have you been a empty thought worth neglecting
Slowly, what's been building like rainwater collecting
I would stop time if I could just so you could catch up
Hold on close to me, slowing this down, will be abrupt
Down, looking at our reflections, soon this separation will be gone
I know that you're injured, but I'll carry you through this, please just hold on
Now, where we're standing is closer than I could ever imagine
When you return to me, just wait, the hands will start moving again

I appreciate you deeply my friend. Funny it is the friendships we create. Seldom does one side understand how much the other means. Cordially A.S.
