Notes About The Poem

The Gulf Coast

Cities are flooded What a disaster All covered by waters Mourned by their daughters and brothers. Katrina and Rita What you two had done? From your wrath no place to run With sorrow you've shrouded the sun. Cities are flooded Her children are crying The waters were rising Burying everything in mud. Cities are flooded The sea destroyed and was killing Birds and cows now are dying The whole enviroment is suffering. Cities are flooded What a disaster! Lives covered by muddy waters Mourned by their sisters and brothers. Dorian Petersen Potter aka laydp2000 copyright@2005 October,27,2014

Very sad situation in the state of flood indeed. Natural disaster causes this and no one has control over it. A very deep insight fallen in to flood affected moment. Loved always,bl
