I have not heard of either the movie or the book. I truely live in Darkest Africa (figuratively and factually). I'm off to the library on Monday and hope that they can source it for me. This monoku piqued my interest. Have a great weekend :)

Hi Suzette! So wonderful to know that this monoku introduced you to this amazing story of the island of Guernsey during WWII. I hope your library will help you track down either the book or the movie. Have a wonderful weekend! Blessings!

Hi Bill! Thank you. So glad you liked it. This true story was told through letters. So engaging. The island of Guernsey really went through challenges during WWII. Have a good weekend. Try to stay cool. Blessings!

Hi Arlo! So good to hear from you! I agree. It is a fantastic book of resilience and courage under conditions we can't imagine and hopefully never have to experience. Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it. Was hard to decide which of my favorite books to write about, but this one kept coming to the surface. Now I can't wait to see the movie! Gratitude and blessings!!
