The Green of Summer

Gone was the green of summer though I never knew it so wrapped in your mother's quilt it never loved you more Precious velvet ribbon dreams left by a devoted lover golden sunlit stitch in seams fingers touching light all over Caught watching an intimate moment fiercely attentive to your task long fingers delicately soothing glorious calfling that you grasped You have my word I'll come looking though never by light of day Pray Taurus and Orion may stop clashing for two huddled under mid winter's sky

Hello Richard, sweet Raven :) of summer, in recent years I concluded it was “too green” compared to the other seasons. This yr sight held me in wonder of shapes of trees over the all-green. Your delving poem here goes far into the sensuous embroidery of the scene, making lavish of what could be only complimented BRAVO

Amazing poetry you write. Among my many poet friends, you stand out as one of those who are very gifted with the ability to choose original and ethereal poetry.
