The Greatest Gift of All

Looking around me at the snow covered vista, time stands still Getting through each day without you takes sheer will Everywhere I go, I see your disapproving stare So different, yet so much alike, quite an odd pair Blame is a wasted emotion, but it can etch into your heart I know I let you down. I wish we could have a fresh start To ask your forgiveness, I know I don't deserve, I would be at your beck and call To see you smile again, would be the greatest gift of all
