The Great White Throne

When Christ was crowned in heaven, Upon The Great White Throne, The Holy Spirit descended; The Apostles no longer alone. As they left the upper room For Pentecost had come, They spread the Good News; Christ a second time would come. Christ’s mission in the Holy Place, As our High Priest above, Took place after his ascension, And his disciples witnessed in love. When filled with the Holy Spirit, There was no holding back, To tell the world of their Lord; Show love they previously lacked. From his Great White Throne in heaven, Christ led them to a world, That was unconsciously dying From Satan’s arrows hurled. Each of his disciples Preached of the Good News of hope, Because of The Great White Throne, Eternal life and God’s love man to envelop. Copyright © Maureen LeFanue 2008-2012

Very impressive write based on the Book of Revelation. Good wording and rhyming.
