The Great Samprendo
The great Samprendo stood on the stage
The audience waited for what seemed like an age
Suddenly he turned with with a swish of his cloak
He really was an incredible bloke.
A flash of lightning and a crash of thunder
Everyone just stared with wonder
Samprendo’s cloak fell to the ground
The great magician nowhere to be found
The crowd gasped then cheered
How could he have just disappeared?
A few seconds later a voice called from the back
“Bravo” said a man all dressed in black
The audience turned to look at this fellow
And were amazed to see the great Samprendo
Sitting calmly and clapping his hands
The greatest magician in all of the land.
