The Great Mushroom Hunt

I like the way time stands still
When I don't turn the calendar
Just after a warm rain in Spring

February 2011...never left; didn't
Want to-
March 2012...Lent begins; my
Favorite time of year-

Every leaf must be unturned
Faces might appear
Mayhem awaits every discovery

One goal looms...

My calendars must be turned
Before May

Before mushrooms spoil

                    Before

                            Mushrooms

                                                Spoil

The distinctive write of a distinguish friend, and how I am excited when I saw you reading my humble lines. Thanks, I just had to shout you, glad to make this contact with a true poet and friend again. Turn it before the mushrooms spoil, man, turn it! One love

Boy, do I wish you were wrong. I want the calendar to stay in each page longer. Terrific take on time.
