The Great Conjunction

Energy changing and connecting
as the Winter Solstice thinned the collective
The earth is one with all who is projecting
with remnants of the solar eclipse reflective
traveling into the age of Aquarius
a beginning moment in the horizon
shifting from Capricorn tonight gregarious
the Christmas star I saw did brighten
clouds did not hinder my observation
though other stars were hidden
a miracle no doubt opened for admiration
as they touched that which isn't forbidden
leaning on gravity while the moon orbits in the First Quarter
meeting in the middle
making way for paths to cross as a transporter
a portal for to twittle
a collaboration of the planets to come bearing
gifts not spent to break the formation
a sign for all who believe in sharing
this marvelous exhibition of incarnation

Jennifer Proxenos December 23, 2020 at 11:41 AM Angela this is a terrific poem. I am amazed the whole world could see this Bethlehem star and the alignment of Saturn and Jupiter. Thank goodness on the Sunday Night , I noticed a bright star North-West of Johannesburg and with our binoculars could see two shining bright planets but much further away than they would have been on Monday. We were so grateful to have had this sneak preview as on Monday night it rained and the sky was cloudy - I so enjoyed this poem. Hugs and blessings, Jenn.
