The very next day Ray's family returned back again to Rene's fast food restaurant's with their adapted motto, 'quick and timely service with a smile." His father drove his car to the middle section that his oldest son, Ray was assigned to three days a week. While he was waiting on his hungry family they wanted to now if he had found a place to stay yet? "Son tell us the truth, did you find a place to stay yet?" asked his father, Raymond. "Yes, father, I did with my youth pastor's Bob and his pregnant wife, Veronica. They are letting me stay in their nursery until Ronnie delivers her baby boy, Tommy three months from now. I am their new volunteer church janitor and yes, I do pay for both my room and my board as well. If I do a good job, Bob will write me a letter of recommendation." "What about coming back home again, son, but if you did you would have to abide by my rules as head of our household?" asked his father, Raymond. "Father, I am very sorry but by doing so I would have to abandoned my Christian faith and all of my Christian beliefs which I hold very dear. I am very sorry but I am 18 years old now and a legal adult. If you need my income why not rent out my bedroom? I won't be needing it any longer." Ray truthfully replied. "Because by abiding by your house rules means I can never return back home again even for a brief visit." "Is that your final answer, Ray?" asked his mother Karin. "Yes, it is mother, and please don't worry about me anymore, my Lord God, Jesus Christ, whom I faithfully serve will take very good care of me!" He smiles at her. After his family finishes the lunch that their son, Ray, served them they left the fast food restaurant with his father, vowing to his family to 'never return back there ever again!' The Open Door Church had a congregational meeting and listened to their deacons and their deaconesses wives. The motion before their floor was this: "Because their volunteer church janitor, Ray Miles, was doing such an excellent job of cleaning and maintaining their church's properties. They moved that he paid be paid an actual salary in order for him to rent out one of the two perish houses reserved for missionaries, guest speakers and their guests. They had already approved of purchasing yet another perish house.
