The Grave Awaits

  	        One life lived with energy
                   Another with lethargy

When all is said and done
                   ~ Both end in penury

And when they die, is it heaven, hell or purgatory?

Yes, Gershon, we can't take anything with us except ourselves. What we do with our spiritual decisions will go with our soul because nothing or anyone can take that away from us. Way to go with this work. Sara K. 👏✍️

Hey Gershon, in our subconscious minds, we often convince ourselves that industry grants us a kind of immunity to transience. Your poem delivers a swift psychological reset, stripping away our defense mechanisms to show that both paths ultimately arrive at the exact same baseline of vulnerability. No matter how much energy, status, or currency a person amasses during their earthly run, the grave returns every balance sheet to absolute zero. Piercing and masterfully economical work, Gershon.Blessings, Daniel
