The Golden Stairs

This is where I place my death wish
On my very last breath sealed with a kiss
This is where it ends
I'm proud that I made it.
I thought I can't be tamed
But the choice I have left is to quit
And people keep telling me I'm weak
I guess I'll believe them for the last time.
If you wake up and I'm not there
I'm waiting for you at the golden stairs
I'll accompany you all the way
But I can't go with you
My destination is the other way
And when the time comes for you
If you met him, tell him I'm sorry
I've had enough load to carry
I just want to be accepted by humans
It's just sad that I forgot to be one.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
