THE GOLDEN DEER The allured mind roaming in the blazing desert Simmers in the pores of the swirling sands The moist vestige of sane sense evaporates The grains of desire leap to turn into mirage Shimmering in metallic tinge of the sinking sun Runs away from the myopic vision blurred Like the golden deer disappearing in elusive oasis Unreached beyond the trail unending.
