The Golden Catfish

The Kalahari Desert has a secret
Whispered upon Dragon's Breath
With an ear to the cave
tightly lipped
You can hear it
Rising on vapour
Mouthed by a sea of imperceptible depth

The treasure of fossil water
Where Gaia's gold fish are kept

 Turns out, not I, nor my search engine, had a clue what Catfish meant.

 The N/A sting, with a dose of 'old' feeling.

It's sole inhabitant blind gold catfish, feeding on whatever living matter settles on the surface happening to fall in from way up above. My muse thrilled by this contest prompt! xomo
