The Glory of Morning

THE GLORY OF MORNING,

How sweet are the silky sheets that entwine us,
His arms wrapped around me
Meeting on the small of my back,
His lips pressed against mine
Both of us dripping with sweat
We fell in love on the first night we met,
His fingers run through my hair,
With an intoxicating flair
Both naked our passion is unsurpassable
Left the curtains open, celestial beings
Serenading us from the skies,
And stars which sparkle like diamantes
About to fall like stardust upon us,
Which feeds our rising fervour with sensual
Irregular heartbeats, and an uncontrollable lust
With the rising and falling of our entangled bodies,
Writhing and rolling as we hold each other close.
With an angst and our breathes baited,
The moment comes for which we had longed,
We let out sighs of love
Which only God can hear from above,
Knock, Knock good morning, room service,
Please go away, and come back later today,
Or some other day!

Your romantic pen flows with sizzling ink, my talented friend. A steamy poem lush with sensuous imagery, Jennifer. Stunning and sexy and so poetically expressed! Your end lines wonderfully add to the fervent feelings of lusty love. Luscious poetry! Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Thank you Sis Susan, it was a little sizzly and naughty, but after all we are married. I love your lusty love, sexy and luscious poetry, sometimes we just feel we want to put it all together, poetically of course. Hugs and blessings my friend, Jennifer.

Hello Jennifer … wow; romantic and erotic if the mind wanders reading your poem. Room when you want it is late, but room service when you don’t is always on time - well done Jennifer - Lindsay
