The Glory Is His
Some would say the dye is cast
Upon the lives of those who have sinned in the past
That nothing will remove the pain
One wonders what there is to gain
In pretending, hiding behind self proclaim righteousness
Which all can see is but mere selfishness
But even the stain of this what has been
Will no longer be seen
For He who redeemed us to live righteous and free
Burns with jealousy He will not let us be
Until the day we kneel down
For Him to place His crown
Upon our heads declaring us heirs to the throne
In this day then it will be known
He cannot be dismissed
The Glory is His.
