The Glass Menage
We are glass prisoners in a glass cage
It might break if we dared to touch it.
We don’t dare touch it
Lest it break.
We are swimmers in an endless sea
We might find ourselves in shallow water
If we stopped swimming.
We don’t dare stop,
Lest we drown.
