The Girl of My Dreams

I married the girl of my dreams,
Then awoke to see it end.
The dream, not as it seems
Turns to make believe--pretend.
So it is with fairy tales--
They come true while we're asleep,
But the happily ever after
Turns to ashes in a heap--
Once we awaken to the dawn,
With but a faded memory...
And a yawn!

I'm good...bring it! In fact, let's find a really awesome, bitchin' dream, become its main players and never wake-up!
