The Girl Inside You

There is a pain inside of you You’re always on the edge of crying Tears flow down your soft cheek Your mouth lost the smile you used to have The girl of your youth has been lost to life Something inside you is tearing you apart Everyone can see it in your eyes You don’t think anyone can help Your body tenses whenever anyone approaches Muscles strain as if you are trying to escape Even a massage cannot help Touches just make your uneasiness grow What has happened to you? Who has hurt you so bad? You cannot trust anyone who cares But your heart is so full of love Waiting to be released If only the right person could reach you Touch your heart and soul Break through the wall you have built around you If you can allow someone to care Really care about you You will see that not all love is pain And maybe you will be happy
