I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU IN
OVER A YEAR.
HOW ARE YOU?
I'm honest with no hesitation.
YEAH... I KNOW.
I'M ALRIGHT. I'M ALIVE.
EDDIE JUST KEEPS IT MOVING,
YA KNOW?
she updates me.
YEAH... WELL SINCE WE SPOKE
LAST,
I FINISHED HIGH SCHOOL AND
NOW I'M IN COLLEGE.
I gave a little back.
THAT'S GREAT.
I'M HAPPY YOU'RE HAPPY.
she returns with a surprise.
THANK YOU, I'VE MISSED YOU.
how could anyone miss me? I
thought to myself.
ME? I THOUGHT YOU WOULD'VE
FORGOTTEN ME BY NOW.
she tells me of her attempts.
I COULD NEVER FORGET YOU.
I'VE REQUESTED YOU SEVERAL
TIMES ON FACEBOOK AND
INSTAGRAM.
I didn't mind her honesty,
so why would she mind mine?
FORGIVE ME.
I WAS LIVING ON SORROW STREET
ACROSS FROM PAIN AVENUE.
I'VE MISSED YOU TOO.
she held no grudge.
I'M HAPPY YOU MESSAGED ME,
EVEN THOUGH MY BIRTHDAY IS
TOMORROW.
I drop my head. "Damn!"
I MESSED THAT UP DIDN'T I?
****, I THOUGHT MY LATE
ENTRANCE
WOULD BE ROMANTIC AS HELL.
NOW IT'S JUST AWKWARDLY
ROMANTIC.
she laughs with a heart of
innocence and I continue.
1997 RIGHT?
I GOT THAT RIGHT, DIDN'T I?
she was quick with a smile.

I close it.
IT'S GREAT TO SEE YOUR NAME
BACK IN MY MESSAGES.
I KNOW WE'LL CONTINUE FROM
HERE.

she gives a feeling with no
