There was a young shy girl
warm heart as pure as pearl.
Gold spun hair, sweet bright smile,
walks the length of the Nile.
The King of beast laid curled
in his lair from the world.
Rules days, nights as he sleeps,
mate hunts while the sun weeps.
The girl walked on her route
it took the wind right out
of her sails. She sat down
on warm dry leaves turned brown.
Beast roared, his gaze yet drawn,
he shook, gave a huge yawn.
She rose on her toes, glanced
spun and swirl as she danced.
She lies on his gold mane,
her warm heart stole his reign.
Her gaze was on the sky
pale blue, while sun was shy.
