The girl and her dream

In the town walks a girl with sunlight in her eyes,
Her bag full of books, her heart full of hope.
Since classic school, she learned to rise,
To break barriers even when paths are narrow.

The university hears her dreams each morning,
Like seeds of light falling into the garden.
She wants to climb beyond the bounds of fate,
To write her future with her own hands tomorrow.

Yet time passes, life presses on her shoulders,
Work has not come to sustain her plans.
Small tasks she takes to keep life afloat,
A little coin to live, another to hold herself strong.

Her parents gave all that they could,
Sacrificing to lay down hope.
But their hands are empty after every stage,
Now she bears the cross herself.

Yet her dream never falls to dust,
She seeks her chance like a star in the sky.
Every door she knocks, courage like fire,
Never dying, even in the coldest nights.

Until one day fate opens a door,
Work arrives like sunlight on her life.
The town rises to honor her name,
For her courage becomes a flame for the people.

The girl who once walked with hope in hand,
Today shines like stars of tomorrow.
She becomes a model for young girls in pain,
Proof that dreams can triumph over fate. ?

Definitely related to this one --- although I'm not a girl, and I couldn't hold on to my dream as long as your character did. Felt I had to give back to my parents before they passed away feeling betrayed. So that's what I did. Would I do it the same way all over again, knowing what I know now? - Yes, I would. ~ gw

I'm glad that the story is familiar to you and certainly familiar to others who perhaps don't dare admit to recognizing themselves, but the best thing is to resist, to hold on, and. I wish courage to all those who bear this cross
